UAB „Euromatas“ carries out conformity assessment of pressure equipment in accordance with the requirements of the „Pressure Equipment Directive“ (2014/68/EU). The requirements of this Regulation apply to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of pressure equipment and assemblies with a maximum allowable pressure (PS) exceeding 0.5 bar. Before placing pressure equipment on the EU market, the manufacturer must carry out a conformity assessment procedure. This conformity assessment procedure must be applied in order to affix the CE marking to the equipment.
Depending on the risk (hazard) category of his product, the manufacturer may choose a combination of different modules to comply with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Regulation, allowing the use of the CE marking.
UAB „Euromatas” carries out conformity assessment procedures according to modules:
Module A2: Internal production control and supervised inspection of pressure equipment at random intervals (module covers design and production)
Module B: European Union type examination (design type) (module covers design; it is always followed by other modules demonstrating the conformity of products to the approved EU type)
Module F: Pressure equipment verification based on conformity to type (equipment verification based on design)
