Control institution

The Public institution Euromatas announces the establishment of a new inspection department dedicated to ensuring that the activities and services of your organisation meet the highest international standards and national regulations. Our qualified specialists will meticulously inspect your organisation’s processes and provide objective insights into potential risks and non-conformities.

We begin these operations by focusing on the conformity assessment of pressure equipment in compliance with The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU). The Directive sets stringent safety requirements for pressure equipment and assemblies, covering their entire lifecycle from design and production to conformity assessment. The Directive applies to equipment with a maximum permissible pressure exceeding 0.5 bar, ensuring uniform safety standards across Lithuania and the European Union.

Our specialists will oversee operations under Module A2, which focuses on the assessment of internal production control and the inspection of pressure equipment at random intervals. The process ensures that your products are in conformity with the highest safety requirements, safeguarding human health, material assets, and the environment.

Metal welding procedure specification and confirmation

Welding is a fundamental manufacturing process for metal products. To ensure the durability of welded joints, production standards often require the formal approval of welding procedures.

The primary goal of welding procedure specifications is to demonstrate that a proposed welding process produces joints with the necessary mechanical properties for their intended application.

If a provisional welding procedure specification meets all requirements and passes testing, our inspection body will issue a Welding Procedure Approval Protocol.
